Does anyone actually read my journals anymore? Oh well.
I got back from Paris on Thursday. Here's what I did if anyone is interested...

Monday:
We got the Eurostar out of Saint Pancras (which I keep on calling St Pancreas. eww) and into Gare de Nord. Paris has the Metro which is like London underground so it was quite wasy to get around. The lines are numbered instead of names though. We stayed in Place d'Italie which was good. Full of Italian restaraunts though LOL. We stayed in a Holiday Inn Express and we were on the top floor so traffic was quiet and we had balconys.
Took me ages to sleep and the pillows were huge, could have sworn they were like inflateable or something. So I slept with one pillow and four towels undernieth else I broke my neck XD

Tuesday:
Went up the Eiffel Tower evenutally after having queued for like an hour and a half to get tickets. The view was amazing and I got loads of photos. But it was boiling hot. When we got back down to the first floor if I stood still my legs shook cause it was like 3 and I had been standing since 11:30. We then went and got lunch. I had a toasted cheese and ham sandwich which was weird cause the cheese was melted but the bread wasn't toasted. and the slice with cheese on was facing up and the ham side was undernieth. Silly french. We then walked to the Arc de triomphe where I melted and then we went back to the holiday inn. I had my own room which was good But it was like 30C out D:

We then went back to the Eiffel tower at midnight because from 10pm-1am for 10 mins on the hour the lights glitter so we did that then went back to the hotel. I got a video of it glittering, it was really amazing. The metro was quite fun too....you opened the doors yourself and most people didn't wait until it stopped XD

Wednesday:
We went on a boat trip up and down the Seine on a Bateaux Mouche (not a Scaramouche LOL). Went past the Grand Palais and the Petit Palais, Notre Dame, Eiffer tower (again) and the Statue of Librety.
We then went to the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch and I got a Green Day HRC t shirt which is in aid of Darfur and Amnesty International. Its greenish and has Billie Joe sihlouetted on it and "Working Class Hero" written on it.
Then we walked up the Champs Elysees but it was too hot to do any real shopping so we went back to the holiday inn again.

Thursday:
Came home on Eurostar again. Dad forked out for First Class so we got fed (although it was fancy shit so I had some ham and pasta and some weird chocolate thing) and it was less squished and quieter.

Oh yeah, everywhere I went, there were mens in the Ladies toilets! I shit you not!
Ok not every where, two places.
In the restaraunt we went to on Tues night there was one cubicle for men, one for women and when I went it was occupied and a man came out o___o I was all "Is this the ladies?!" and he was like "Yeah". Thurs when we got kicked out our rooms we hung in reception. I went to the loos which were downstairs in the conferency bit and men came out the ladies again and laughed at me o_____o Then the lights in there were motion activated so you had to wave like a loon while sat on the can.
Oh and the loos at St pancras. If you got it wrong you walked into a freezer. And it was one big room with cubicles for women and some for men. So weird. And they were actually labelled "Loos" and not Toilets. LOL

Holiday means more time to draw (hence the 3 deviations in 2 days) and I might start features soon. Although I'm not sure if there is much of a point because as far as I'm aware only a handful of people actually read this anymore.

Sorry, sorry. Shouldn't bitch/complain else I might be accused of drama llamaing.

Ellooooo!
Well if anyone still reads these, I'm off to Paris tomorrow! I'll be back thursday but I won't have any internet. I know I don't update pics much but I still activly comment etc so this is just incase anyone wonders where I've got to.

So, I'll be back this thursday with photos, tales of wtfness on my LJ and probably some drawings. Meanwhile for me its 4 days of iPod, DS, drawing, reading and trying not to scream at the fact I have no net access. I'm gonna miss dA and fanfics ha yeah ok I'm pathetic

Once I'm back, photos will be uploaded to ~SymbolOfResistance . And, I know I'm doing a load of random drawings at the mo with Pokemon and Ashes but basically, I'm drawing what I'm into at the moment.

Also: Doctor Who Spoilers Ahoy!

How freaking awesome was Turn Left? It actually gave me a headache thinking it all through. So with no Donna The Doctor dies. Without the Doctor: Martha and Sarah Jane smith die on the moon, Ianto and Gwen die on the Sontaran ship and Jack is taken hostage oh, and all of London die with the Titanic and they start killing Italians. Yeah, we are SO much better off with the Doctor. Can't wait til next week...mega crossover! Woohoo!
